PORTUGAL MODERN

Dear Bom Sucesso Community

I’m Ben, and I created this page because I fell in love with Portuguese modern architecture right here – in Bom Sucesso.

You’re the First to See It!

Over the past years, I’ve studied modern architecture all across Portugal. This website is the result of that journey. It’s called:

PORTUGAL MODERN – Architecture You Can See, Visit, — or Call Home.

Portugal is full of surprises.

At first glance, it’s the past that stands out in Portugal — tiled houses, stone churches, historic charm. But look a little closer, and you’ll find something else:

A quiet, powerful world of modern and postmodern architecture in Portugal.

After years of exploring, I realized how much there is to discover — bold, thoughtful design, often hidden in plain sight.

For me, the place that brought it all together was Bom Sucesso.

It’s the most ambitious modern architecture projects in Europe – “… the largest living, permanent exhibition of private, contemporary architecture.”

I wanted to share the beauty we live with every day.

And the presentation of Bom Sucesso is just the beginning. This project will grow to reveal modern architecture across Portugal – homes, public spaces, and hidden gems by the country’s greatest architects.
